Nominations are in and voting is taking place for the annual Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. The awards will be handed out at the Business Awards Gala, Saturday, June 10.
“We are celebrating business excellence in our community,” said chamber executive assistant Anna Kaytor. “We have some great businesses here.”
The chamber wants to encourage community members to come out and enjoy an evening complete with a dinner catered by Kim’s Creations, live music and an auction.
“We welcome the general public to attend, it’s not just for chamber members — its for everybody,” said Kaytor.
A new feature this year is live art — local artist Jordan Perkins will be creating a painting during the event.
