Friends of the Castlegar Library provide furniture for kids wing
Darlene Kalawsky (far right), chair of the friends of the Castlegar and District Library society, and Helen Moore (far left), vice-chair, give a cheque for $5,000 to Sandra Smith (third from left), Director of the Castlegar and District Library, and Arlee Venier, children's librarian. The money will be used for furniture for the brand new children's library wing of the Castlegar and District Public Library.
