A large turnout of pets kept Santa Claus (Gerry Rempel) busy on Sunday.

The event was a fundraiser for the Kootenay Animal Assistance Program Society (K.A.A.P.), which also had a special on pet adoptions underway at the time.

For a $10 donation to K.A.A.P. proud pet owners got a souvenir pic with St. Nick.
