Volunteers plant 5,000 daffodils

Spring will bring 5,000 more daffodils at the Highway 3 West interchange in Castlegar.

Volunteers from children to seniors planted 5000 daffodil bulbs at the Highway 3 West interchange this weekend. The bulbs are in addition to the 5000 planted last year at the same location. The bulbs are in support of breast cancer awareness. The event was organized by Castlegar Communities in Bloom.
