You're invited to a West Kooteny transit open house

Here’s your chance to help the new West Kootenay Transit Committee and BC Transit shape the kind of public transportation service that works best for you and your region.

BC Transit is hosting a series of Open Houses in December. Come and take a look at the proposed routes, schedules and maps for the first-ever integrated West Kootenay Transit System.

The new system takes effect in the spring of 2013.

West Kootenay Transit Open House Schedule:

 

Tuesday December 4

Nelson Selkirk College, 10th Street Campus – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Nelson Museum – 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday December 5

Nelson Selkirk College, Silver King Campus - 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Castlegar Selkirk College Campus – 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Castlegar Community Complex – 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Thursday December 6

Trail Selkirk College Campus – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

If you are not able to attend one of the Open House events in person, you can view proposed fares, routes and schedules; and fill out a survey online at www.bctransit.com from November 28 to December 13, 2012.
