Shopping Spree!
Colleen Kalnins was the big winner of the Castlegar News Win $2012 in 2012 contest. Despite all the snow, Kalnins went out with Castlegar News employees Craig Lindsay and Chris Hopkyns on Dec. 20 and received gift certificates totaling $2,012 from several participating Castlegar businesses.
Businesses and reps featured sequentially in the accompanying photo gallery, are: Andre's - Jim Davidson; Rona – Tony Bergner; Kootenay Market – Dan Rye; The Gift Box – Pat White and Lisa Sherbinin; and Canadian Tire – Nick Ahlefeld.
Kalnins was thrilled to win the contest and said she loves shopping locally and supporting local businesses.
