Single vehicle incident near Castlegar

Castlegar first responders answered a call relating to a single-vehicle accident at about 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 9.

The mishap occurred 15 kilometres west of Castlegar on Highway 3.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle had apparently swerved to miss a deer, according to emergency personnel on the scene. The man was then transported to hospital for observation.
