Trail knife attack earns jail time for Castlegar man

Trail RCMP has reported the arrest of a 38-year-old Castlegar man following a December 18 stabbing incident in Trail.

An argument had reportedly led to an attack on a 38-year-old man who was later taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound to his leg.

Police reported the assailant was taken into custody near the scene of the attack and will remain in jail as he awaits a court appearance.
