A turnout of about a dozen attended the 2014 staging of the Day of Mourning for Killed/Injured workers on Monday, April 28.

Strong pleas for greater efforts toward safer working conditions across the board were expressed by a variety of speakers at the event.

Condolences and respect were offered for the 128 workers who perished on the job last year, their families and friends, and those injured as well.
