Castlegar Fire reminds residents to cut grass, vegetation

Castlegar Fire Department reminds you to ensure grass and vegetation is trimmed and disposed of.

In this time of severe dry weather conditions, the Castlegar Fire Department would like to remind all property owners to ensure all grass and vegetation on their property is trimmed and disposed of properly.

This will greatly assist emergency fire crews in the event of an interface fire.

Please assist us by ensuring your property is as Firesmart as possible and you have a fire safety zone around your home.

This information is available on the City of Castlegar Emergency Preparedness Guidebook pages 43 and 44.
