Letter: Could smaller buses save money?

While driving in rural areas like Robson and up the Slocan Valley, I’m amazed at the site of these huge 40-seat buses servicing the public (B.C. Transit). Whose bright idea was it to use these humongous buses?

I’m sure they spend more time riding empty or maybe a couple people but we don’t need taxpayers money again being wasted on these city buses.

I’m sure a 15-person van would work and be much more practical, heck, a six-passenger car would work.

I get so sick and tired of government waste, whoever came up with this idea please write this paper and tell us who you are so we taxpayers can remember your name come election time. Think that’ll happen, oh did I just see a pig fly by?
