On behalf of the Selkirk Weavers’ and Spinners’ Guild, the participating artists, venues, and myself, I would like to thank the Castlegar News for their generous coverage showcasing the Columbia Basin Culture Tour.

Of course, a huge thank you also goes to the Columbia Basin Trust and the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance for making the free self-guided tours of artists’ studios and venues possible.

Chelsea Novak’s words in her article “Culture Tour Coming to Castlegar,” were well-chosen to provide highlights of the 13 artists/venues in our Castlegar area.

I know that this feature in our local newspaper had a lot to do with the huge success of this year’s Culture Tour. It means a lot to our community to have this kind of professional coverage of our cultural events.

Thank you, Castlegar News, Chelsea Novak, the Columbia Basin Trust, and the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.
