Tonight while walking in my neighbourhood I found a pile of burnt cigarette butts on the corner of 9th Ave. and 35th St., right by Cone Hill Park.
I’m constantly disgusted by the cigarette butts that I also find tossed in my front yard on 9th Ave. I just can’t believe that people are so stupid. It is ridiculously dry around here and the fire danger is extreme. When will people learn?
The butts extend into Cone Hill Park which is very dry right now. This is never acceptable. These people need to be found or it won’t be long before Castlegar is the next place on fire.
