Castlegar Rebels beat Leafs 5-3 to take series lead

Castlegar defeated the Leafs in Nelson 5-3 on Monday night in KIJHL first round play-off action. The win puts the Rebels up 2-1 in the best of seven series.

Anthony Delong scored twice, while Scott Morisseau, Diego Bartlett, and Arthur Andrews, with what would turn out to be the game winner, added singles.

Brett Norman scored twice for the Leafs and Nik Newman scored once for the Leafs.

The teams play again Tuesday night.
