In a spirited afternoon affair the Castlegar Rebels and their Nelson guests played a game which was entertaining despite a shortage of goals.

Castlegar forward Aaron threatened repeatedly, hitting a couple of goal posts but not being rewarded.

The game was scoreless until the Leafs' Aaron Dunlap opened the scoring in the third period. Stuart Walton evened the score... and that was it until the two squads meet for a rematch Tuesday in Nelson.
