SHSS finishes on top of pool at West Kootenay volleyball championships

Teams from throughout the West Kootenay/Boundary region converged on Castlegar's Stanley Humphries Secondary School for the junior girls volleyball zone championships.

The placing for pool A were: 1. Boundary Central (Midway), 2. Mount Sentinel (South Slocan), 3. SHSS 9's, 4. L.V. Rogers (Nelson).

For pool B the results were: 1. SHSS 10's, 2. L.V. Rogers 10's, 3. Mount Sentinel, and 4. Grand Forks.

The semi-finals are taking place this afternoon with the final going at 4:30.
