The Castlegar Rebels got off to a slow start in Sicamous and paid the price, losing to the Eagles 5-2.

Sicamous went up 2-0 after one period and 3-0 after two periods.

Castlegar outshot the home team 46-30. Tomorrow night the Rebels are in Revelstoke to play the Grizzlies.
