Hat-tricks from Vlanich, Walton pace Rebels in big win

The Castlegar Rebels pushed out to a 4-0 lead after one period, and kept the pressure up beating Columbia Valley 9-4 at the complex tonight.

Linemates Stuart Walton and Jamie Vlanich scored hat-trick each to lead the Rebs. Also scoring for Castlegar were Aaron Petten with two goals and Bryan Lubin scored once.

Connor Beauchamp stopped 23 shots in net for Castlegar.
