The Stanley Humphries Secondary junior girls basketball team used a strong 15 point output from Rachael teBulte to beat Grand Forks 41-12 at the L.V. Rogers Bomber Invitational in Nelson on Friday.

Lisa Lefelaar added six points, while Kirsten D. and Vanessa P. led GF with six each.

"We started slowly but then found our groove," said SHSS coach Kim Matson. "We were able to get some nice fast break baskets of steals and rebounds. Our passing against the zone was another highlight."

Today, the Rockers face off against the J.L. Crowe at 10:40 a.m. followed by the hosts at 5:20 p.m.
