Local financial planner Debbie Pereversoff (left) of The Affolter Financial Group recently returned from a convention in Las Vegas where many of Canada’s top portfolio fund managers were present – including former Castlegar resident David Picton (right.) Picton is now president of Picton Mahoney Asset Management in Toronto. In 2004, Picton and his business partner,Mike Mahoney formed their own portfolio management boutique and now in excess of $6 billion in assets for investors.
