99-year-old Castlegar woman receives certificate for volunteer service

Gladys Manahan was honoured for her 60 years of volunteer service at the Casltegar City Volunteer Reception on Thursday night.

Gladys Manahan was presented with a certificate of recognition and flowers by Mayor Lawrence Chernoff yesterday at the Castlegar City Volunteer Reception.

A 99-year-old Castlegar woman was presented with a certificate of recognition by the mayor at the Casltegar City Volunteer Reception on Thursday night.

Gladys Manahan received the certificate, as well as a bouquet of flowers, for her 60 years volunteering at the Castlegar & District Public Library.
