AM Rotary group visits Mulligan’s

The Castlegar Sunshine AM Rotary Club met at Mulligan’s Restaurant on Thursday for their morning meeting. Members heard various stories as Sargeant at arms Jerry Rempel accepted happy and sad bucks. He also regaled the membership with interesting facts about animals including the fact that if you shaved a tiger, the colour and stripes would be the same on the skin as on the fur. This reporter wondered, who is the person that first tried to shave a tiger?

Also, President Alexia Turner said that ticket sales for the upcoming Wine Festival were going well but there were still tickets available at Oglows and Bubblee’s Liquor stores in Castlegar.
