The president of BC Colleges is providing information about an opportunity available to First Nations post-secondary students.
The Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) is offering a Skills Award for Aboriginal Youth. This award is given to an individual who demonstrates strong academics, commitment to their field of study and to the revitalized forest products industry, and a commitment to e Aboriginal community.
The award winner will receive $2500 plus a travel and accommodation allowanace to receive the award.
“I would like to see Aboriginal college students apply for this award,” said Jim Reed, president, BC Colleges in a recent newsletter.
