Art Bark fundraiser to support Trail SPCA

Buffet dinner and art auction will be at the Nineteenth restaurant in Castlegar on Oct. 14.

If you have a love for animals and a love for art, then the Art Bark fundraiser might be the place for you.

The annual Art Bark dinner will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Nineteenth restaurant in Castlegar.

The evening will include a buffet dinner plus live and silent auctions of art produced by local artisans such as paintings, pottery and jewelry.

This year’s menu features vegetarian dishes such as butternut squash sage cream gnocchi, vegetable korma, kasmiri pilau (Indian rice), grilled vegetable skewers, artisan salads, garlic flat bread, and tortes for dessert.

Funds raised during the event will go to help support the day-to-day operational costs and needs of the BC SPCA Trail Regional Branch.

Tickets for the event are $45 and can be purchased at Head 2 Toe Holistic Health Clinic in Castlegar, Barks and Recreation in Trail or online at spca.bc.ca/trail-art-bark.
