Julio Cochoy, founder of the collective and author of “Voices Breaking the Silence of Utitlan”, was the guest speaker at Beads of Hope on Friday at St. Rita’s Church Hall. The event also showcased beautiful hand-made jewellery from the Maya Skills women’s cooperative of Guatemala.
