Preparations have already begun for the 29th Annual West Kootenay Camera Club (WKCC) Photo Show.
This competition and show is open to all.
Categories are: wildlife, nature, human interest, creative images, flowers/plants/fruits, portrait, architecture, landscapes, urban and open.
Members of the WKCC are allowed to enter 10 photographic prints while non-members are limited to four entries.
Deadline for entries is April 25 and judging takes place shortly after.
After the prints are judged they will all be displayed for a week at the Kootenay Gallery of Art starting on May 31. Between May 31 and June 2 gallery visitors will be able to vote for People’s Choice and also have a chance to enter the Loonie Prize Draw to win a beautiful framed print.
