Local dancers from Scottie School of Highland Dance competed at the Annual Kate E. Shaw Memorial Highland Dance Competition in Trail on May 18.
Isabel McAleer also competed May 18, but at the Victoria Highland Games. Her results in the Novice 10 and Under class were 4th in the Flora and 7th in the Seann Truibhas.
The local dancers will continue their outings this spring and summer, as well as dancing locally at the Seniors Conference on June 7 and Concert in the Park on June 26.
Following the summer the dance school will gear up for the Castlegar Highland Games being held on October 5.
