With heat warnings in place, Castlegar’s cooling spaces will be open July 27-30.
Those seeking relief from the heat have three options:
• New Life Church - 602 7th Street
• Way Out Shelter - 1660 Columbia Avenue
• Kinnaird Church of God - 2404 Columbia Avenue
The spaces will provide air-conditioned space, seating, washrooms, and drinking water daily between 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
