Castlegar farmers and craft market opens for the season

The market features baked goods, produce, plants, textiles, woodworking, pottery, soaps, jewellery

The Castlegar Farmers and Craft Market has opened for the season.

The outdoor market runs every Saturday through October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Station Museum at 400 13th Ave.

The market features fresh baked goods, fresh produce and plants, textiles, woodworking, pottery, soaps, jewellery and too many other things to name.

Vendor spots are available. Each spot is 10 ft. by 10 ft. and costs $20 each week. To reserve a space contact 250-608-1047.

Volunteers are also needed to help with various tasks including greeting patrons, setting up, cleaning up and assisting vendors.
