St. Rita’s Parish is hosting a dinner, auction and dance to raise money for the food bank.
It will be held at the parish hall (513 7th avenue), Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling Fred at 250-365-9342.
Over the years we have held many dinners and had a lot of community support. Now, it is time to have a dinner and return something back to the community.
We have had a lot of people step forward to help. Merchants of Castlegar and surrounding area have donated many items to a live auction and raffle. Some include fishing rods, duvet, oil change, golf, area rug, drone, and many gift certificates. John Russel will be doing the auction.
The evening will close with dancing to the music of Peter Makortoff. All proceeds from the dinner will go the food bank
