The Stanley Humphries Secondary School Class of 2022 will be celebrating their accomplishments this weekend.

Event schedule:

Commencement Ceremony — The official cap and gown ceremony featuring diplomas, speeches and awards will take place on Friday, June 17, at Selkirk College from 5 - 7 p.m. The ceremony is for family only.

Car Parade — Come out and cheer on your favourite grad as they parade from the high school to the Castlegar Community Complex. The event will take place on Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. The parade will route from the school on 7th Avenue to the hospital intersection (10th Street) and then on to Columbia Avenue to 20th Street then turning onto 6th Avenue and entering the Community Complex parking lot. Everyone is invited to watch the parade.

Grand March — The Grand March is for grads and families only and will be held at the Doukhobor Discovery Centre. Grads will take photos between the car parade and the start of the march at 5 p.m.

Prom — The prom will kick off at 8 p.m. and is only for grads, their dates and their parents.
