The Castlegar and District Public Library is looking for a few more friends.

The Friends of the Library (FoL) volunteer group is an opportunity for people to give back to the library in a meaningful way.

The local FoL group is famous for its Sunfest weekend and winter book sales where book lovers can grab piles of books for affordable prices all the while supporting their local library.

The group also helps to raise funds for special projects, assists with activities hosted at the library and advocates for the library.

FoL meets the second Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining, send an email to friends@castlegarlibrary.com or call the library at 250-365-6611.
