Debra McCracken is an active member of the local quilting scene. When widespread flooding occurred recently in Southern Alberta it did not take long before local quilters sprang into action, joining a widespread effort to show support for out neighbours to the east.
"All it took was one facebook post and one email," said McCracken about the haul of more than 30 quilts created by a group of talented locals.
McCracken said on July 15 she was delivering the shipment in person, leaving for Alberta in a matter of days.
