The knitting group at Stellar Place has been putting the neighbourhood's clubhouse to good use as they create gifts to meet local needs.

So far in 2024, the knitting group has donated over 25 lap blankets to cancer patients undergoing treatments, residents at Castleview and Talarico and wheelchair users.

Currently the group is knitting and crocheting toques in all sizes. These will be distributed at Christmas to the food bank, local schools  and wherever else they may be needed. They have already completed over 70 toques.
