There is more good news on the local entertainment and activities front — Castlegar Spring Fling is back in 2023.
The free family event featuring vendors, live entertainment and kids activities will take place on Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in and around Kinsmen Park in downtown Castlegar.
“Come out and enjoy free entertainment for families,” said organizer Peter Laurie. “It’s a great community event to get the season off to a good start.”
The entertainment schedule has not been finalized and more information will be available in the coming weeks. However, there will not be a three-on-three street hockey tournament this year.
There also will not be a car show, unless some volunteers step forward to organize it.
