The Castlegar Tim Horton’s has shown what small town spirit is all about during the chain’s annual Camp Day Fundraiser.

The Castlegar store raised $6630 during the campaign, ranking third in the province for total funds raised.

Store owner Nicole McMillan says that accomplishment is phenomenal, especially considering they were up against stores in much larger markets like Kelowna and Vancouver.

Across the country, this year’s Camp Day raised over $12 million to help support camp experiences that encourage youth to reach their potential.
