The winners of this year’s Merry & Bright contest are helping bring Christmas cheer to the City of Castlegar.
Judges toured the city on Dec. 17, searching for the best holiday displays.
The winner of the best holiday display is Teresa Klimchuk at 110 Ferry Ave. The runner-up is Vito Iacullo at 790 Lynwood Cr.
The most creative award belongs to Larwence Chernoff at 2513 6th Ave. The runner-up is Pearl Mursch at 3924 Grandview Dr.
The City of Castlegar, Castlegar News, FortisBC, and Mercer Celgar partnered together to bring the contest to our community this season.
The winners will share $1,500 in gift certificates to Castlegar restaurants, activities, shops, and stores.
