Community Harvest Food Bank gets second big donation

Food Bank in Castlegar grateful for second generous donation of the day

The recipients of services at the Community Harvest Food Bank in Castlegar, probably wish every day could be like today.

In just a few short hours over $2,000 has been donated from two organizations.

Earlier this morning, the West Kootenay Toy Run donated $1,020 and this afternoon, staff from Castlegar Realty proudly presented another $1,010 donation to food bank director, Deb McIntosh.

The Castlegar Realty funds were raised during a successful car wash/barbecue on July 13.
