Devoted couple saluted for work on Castlegar Communities in Bloom program

Volunteers Kathy and Mac Gregory display award presented to them by CIB committee chair Darlene Kalawsky

Mac and Kathy Gregory may fit the ‘retired’ description in one way, but they sure don’t sit around much.

The pair is active in the local senior citizens’ association, has four adopted roads to keep tidy plus ongoing efforts to give Castlegar its best chance of doing well in the popular Communities in Bloom program.

Mac and Kathy were part of a sizable list of achievers saluted at the CIB barbecue and awards night on July 20 at the Pass Creek Fairgrounds. The event coincided with the welcome of a pair of international CIB judges.
