The city of Castlegar, in conjunction with Waste Management, held a free one day electronic recycling drop-off event on Saturday at the Pioneer Arena.
Councillors and city staff members helped residents dispose of many unwanted ewaste products that had been cluttering basements and garages. These products may have ended up filling the landfill. The nearest regular e-waste facility is in Trail.
