Kootenay-West MLA and B.C. Finance Minister Katrine Conroy visited the Castlegar and District Public Library's summer reading program on July 18.
During the stop she talked with kids and parents about the financial benefits for families that were part of the province's 2024 budget.
She also encouraged residents to check out the government's new benefits connector website at www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/home/benefits.
