Castlegar high school students are once again planning on frightening the community at their Halloween food bank fundraiser.

Prisoners have escaped the Stanley Humphries Penitentiary and are trying to escape the city. You can catch the action on Thursday, Oct. 27 on Seventh Avenue in front of the school property.

This year’s scare is a walk-through event. Parking is available at the back of the school (off of 9th Avenue).

Kids’ tours take place from 5 - 7 p.m. and adult tours run from 7 - 10 p.m.

Admission is non-perishable food or cash donations for the Community Harvest Food Bank.
