Head 'em up... mooove 'em out

Young cyclists prove they want to be as safe in the saddle as they can be

The hoped-for turnout arrived for Saturday's Bike Safety Rodeo at the Castlegar Community Complex.

The Castlegar & District Recreation Department and the Castlegar RCMP hosted a Bike Safety Rodeo on April 21.  The Children had a great time while learning the rules of the road!.

Bike registration numbers were recorded and will be kept at the Castlegar RCMP detachment. Mark Weigeldt from Gericks Cycle in Nelson was kept busy checking bike helmets and ensuring that bikes were road ready!

Thanks to all the Volunteers and Participants that came out!  We look forward to next year
