The Castlegar & District Senior Citizens Association Branch held a draw for a hand-made quilt donated by the Quilters Guild and valued at $800. The association made $780 selling tickets for the drawing. Nola Partington was the lucky winner, pictured here with branch president Metro Zwozdesky.

Seniors activities at the Seniors Lounge at the Castlegar Community Complex. The lounge is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holidays.

Mondays:

Darts – 9 a.m.

Billiards – 9:30 a.m.

Whist – 1 p.m.

Tuesdays:

Carpet Bowling – 9 a.m.

Floor Curling – 9:30 a.m.

Line Dancing – 1 p.m.

(No dancing Jan. 21 and 28)

Wednesdays:

Floor Curling – 9:30 a.m.

Rummoli – 1 p.m.

Thursdays:

Quilters – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Billiards – 9 a.m. 

Fridays:

Darts – 9 a.m.

Bridge – 9:30 a.m.

Crib – 1 p.m.

(No bridge Jan. 3)

Special Events:

Kootenay Sings Jan 7 and 21 at 6 p.m.

Crib at Genelle Hall on Tuesdays at 1 p.m.

General meeting Jan. 8, 2 p.m.
