Kootenay Gallery supporters host Soup for the Cultured Soul

Fundraiser for gallery relocation project

The Kootenay Gallery of Art’s annual Soup for the Cultured Soul fundraiser was held March 25. This year’s event was once again held in individual homes with volunteers dropping off everything hosts needed right to their doorsteps.

The soups were donated by Chef’s Choice, B’s Eatery and Public House, The Nineteenth, Black Rooster, MapleMirch and The Grateful Table. The menu also included Doodle Bug Chocolates and Hester Creek wines.

Participants also received a soup bowl crafted by a local artisan to use and keep.

Money raised during the event is earmarked for the gallery’s relocation project.
