The short-lived civic showcase called Castlegar SculptureWalk has doubled in size since making its debut just three years ago.
Thirty sculptures, mostly installed May 25-26 are adding artistic charm, class and sophistication to our city in an effort recently described as having made this community the Sculpture Capital of BC, and more recently, putting Castlegar well on the way to becoming the Sculpture Capital of Canada.
Much gratitude was spread around during the event's gala kickoff May 26 at the Kootenay Gallery. Much enjoyment awaits art lovers and those about to become art lovers with SculptureWalk 2012!
