A decent sized crowd for a sunny thursday evening saw an amazing performance at the Castle Theatre by Gilles Parenteau and his Virtual Symphony. The show was a fundraiser for Mariah Morris and her bid to attend the B.C. Ambassador program.
Parenteau used seven different keyboard sets as well as foot pedals to replicate the sound of a full orchestra as he performed several classical songs and music from popular movies.
Opening the show was local country singer Jason Thomas. Morris, who was Miss Castlegar 2010, joined Parenteau on stage for several songs showcasing her amazing voice.
