More than 30 cyclists made their way down the Paulson Summit into Castlegar Sunday afternoon as part of the Cops for Kids Ride. The group left Kelowna on September 14 and will travel 1000 kilometres by the end of the trip. Castlegar Cst. Ron George was part of the team. “There are so many Kootenay families who benefit from Cops for Kids funding, particularly those travelling to receive medical care,” said George. “Knowing that my fundraising and hard work helps these local families motivates me to keep working to help these families in their time of need.” Photo: Jesse O’Donaghey
