PHOTOS: Remembrance Day in Castlegar

Remembrance Day ceremonies were held Nov. 11 at Kinsmen Park

A large crowd of people braved the cold and pouring rain on Remembrance Day to pay their respects at the Castlegar Cenotaph at Kinsmen Park.

The ceremony was also attended by local dignitaries including Mayor Maria McFaddin, and MLA Katrine Conroy, as well as RCMP members, Castlegar Fire Department members, scouts, cadets and members of the local Royal Canadian Legion, who organized the event.
