The 1st Robson Cubs and Scouts planted 350 trees on Crown land last Tuesday evening.
Fifteen youth aged 8 to 14 enrolled in the 1st Robson Scout Group practiced good stewardship on June 6, 2017.
They drove up to a BC Timber Sales (BCTS) Block and planted 350 Douglas Fir and Western Larch seedlings.
The spots they planted were areas where the logging debris had been piled and burned.
BCTS and Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource Operations representatives were on site to educate the youth on Forestry practices and safety in the forest.
